There is currently a known issue for some systems built between late 2016 and March of 2021 where a battery on the control module may go dead. This usually shows up when the unit is powered down after a long period of being left on and then will not operate when turned back on. Symptoms may include flashing LEDs on the front panel, garbled text on the LCD screen or failure to communicate through any interface. You may get the system back up and running again by replacing the battery on the control module and Cytec will replace the control module with a version that does not need the battery at no charge to fix the problem permanently. These drivers are generic and typically configured for a system with 16 modules and 8 switches per module. You will most likely have to change the number of switch points to correspond to you particular system. Contact us with any issues.

These links are for the latest Java based Virtual Manual Control Software for LAN interface. The software allows you to set configurations with the mouse. It also allows you to store and recall configurations as needed. The software is free and replaces older versions of the VB.net software. The software is cross platform compatible but hasn't been tested on every version of Apple OS or Linux. It uses the latest Java JRE which must be installed on the machine you are running it on. Unlike previous versions of our VMC ( Virtual Manual Control ) software, these versions are much more specific to the type of system you are running, as opposed to the old version which attempted to be a "one size fits all" program.
